the usuli library

The Usuli Library is the largest private collection of Islamic jurisprudential sources among many other subject areas - a humanistic collection to rival any university! Since January 2021, Dr. Khaled Abou El Fadl and the Usuli students have dedicated hundreds of hours to reviving the library in its new location, shelving and organizing an extensive collection of Arabic and English texts across countless subject areas. This collection is a testament to a scholar's lifelong quest to save the Islamic intellectual tradition. Preserving, teaching and learning from these sources forms the backbone of The Usuli Institute.
